The list of organizations and efforts that are worth supporting in Ukraine is endless. All forms of support contribute positively. Both support for emergency aid organizations that take care of refugees, support directly to the Ukrainian state or to support citizens and companies in Ukraine in various ways. Everything that puts money into the Ukrainian economy is, in short, positive.

The travel and hospitality industry will be especially important for Ukraine when they are going to rebuild after the war, because it is a very good way to import foreign currency and put funds into the economy in a decentralized way. If you are in the travel industry yourself, or have just visited a museum where you are, why not buy a ticket at a Ukranian museum as well, to help them throught the war and make it possible for them to pay their staff until they can reopen again.

A very good organization to support is World Central Kitchen. They were founded in 2010 in connection with the crisis in Haiti. They are very active in Ukraine and in the countries around where the refugee flows go. They help support local restaurants so they can hand out hot meals to refugees. They contribute funds and raw materials to many restaurants in large parts of Ukraine, so that they can continue to pay their employees and cook hot food for those who are on the run and hiding in bomb shelters. Support for them helps to keep people and reataurants alive.

The action of booking rooms in Ukraine through AirBnB has received a great deal of attention. AirBnB has taken no commission to provide accommodation in Ukraine during the war. We recommend booking rooms in the areas where the war is taking place, since what is located further west in the country can be useful for people on the run. If you are going to book there, at least do so a good time into the future. It is a brutal experience to search for all the beautiful homes located in cities like Kyiv, Kharkiv, Nikolaev, Kherson, Mariupol, Sumy, Chernihiv and many, many more. Those who own the homes have hopefully managed to escape, but most of the homes have probably been destroyed by the Russians' meaningless attacks on civilians.

Mariupol
A city almost totally destroyed with massive civilian casualties. Also the ultimate symbol of Ukranian resistance. Hopefully the beautiful and peaceful city will rice from the ashes. Until then, you can buy tickets for å guided tour of the city.

Mykolaiv
One of the tourism companies that are online and have asked for help is Myolaiv Zoo, who need money for food for the animals. Many have bought already, so the zoo is "sold out" in the next few days. But it is possible to buy future tickets online at the link.

Kyiv
State Aviation Museum of Ukraine asked people to buy tickets to save the museum through the war. They will use the funds to protect the exhibitions and pay salaries until the museum can reopen its doors.

Chernihiv
The city of Chernihiv has been subjected to massive destruction when the Russians tried to take the city. The museum in the city and the culture region have both asked poeple to support them with buying tickets online to help them through the crisis and towards rebuilding.

Lutsk
In the town of Lutsk there are seven different museums and exhibition where you can buy tickets online to support them.

Kharkiv
The whole Kharkiv-region has been subjected to massive bombardment from day one of the war and still is. The city still holds out and here there are a number of exhibitions where you can buy tickets, to help them save the exhibitions and pay their staff.

Donetsk
The region has been at war and partially occupied since 2014. Zaporizhzhia
This is the region where the Russians opened fire at a nuclear power plant. which is likely to put a damper on post-war tourism. It was also here that our partner Bodø/Glimt played a Conference League match in November 2021. Here is a museum that can be supported by buying tickets online.

Kherson
The city of Kherson has been occupied by Russian forces for a month now and is about to be liberated by Ukrainian forces. The experience is that the Russians destroy most things when they retreat. Here are four exhibitions it is possible tosupport by buying tickets online.

There are many Ukranians both inside and outside Ukraine that need an income. Through netwworks like Upwork it's possible to hire Ukranians to do freelance work, like we have done to make this article and to translate our page into Ukranian.

You should also buy Ukranian goods whereever you can find them, and boycott Russian goods.

Another, and perhaps the best, oportunity is to contribute directly to the Ukranians that are ending this war and liberating their country.
