One of Norway´s best war museums!
Lofoten War Memorial Museum opened in the 1990s and has an impressive exhibition of artifacts from World War II. Among other things it has Norway´s largest collection of uniforms.
We recomend a visit to the Lofoten War Memorial Museum. And don´t be in a hurry, there is a lot to see. The visit can also be a part of a guided history walk of Svolvær or a guided war history walk focusing on the 1941 Lofoten raid.
