A gallery with atmosphere and room for great experiences!
At Nærøya next to Fosnavåg, in an old, restored barn, lies the gallery Meirenntusenord (more than a thousand words). From the outside the barn looks new, but the inside has been preserved in its original state and looks the same as always.
The old and worn wood with painting spots and rusty nails is the backdrop for numerous landscape pictures, mainly taken on Herøy. The strong and bright colors in the pictures, against the rustic background, make this gallery a unique experience.
The retro furniture and the refined lighting give a homely and warm atmosphere.
The barn is well suited for dining, presentations, or intimate concerts. It´s a great place to arrange business meetings, or to eat lunch between activities.
